Welcome to our FAQ section. Below you’ll find answers to the most common questions about sourcing John Deere OEM and aftermarket parts through our global supplier network.
If you don’t see your question here, feel free to contact us — we’re always happy to help.
1. Do you sell John Deere parts directly?
No, we are not a dealer and do not sell parts directly.
John-Deere-Parts.com is a sourcing service that connects customers with trusted, pre-vetted parts suppliers worldwide. We help you find the best offer based on price, stock availability, delivery time, and location.
2. What kind of parts can I request through your service?
We can help you source almost any part compatible with John Deere machinery, including:
- Engine parts (filters, injectors, pumps, ECUs)
- Electrical and electronic components
- Hydraulic systems and hoses
- Transmission, drivetrain, and cooling components
- Attachments, implements, and accessories
You can request either OEM or aftermarket options.
3. What’s the difference between OEM and aftermarket parts?
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts are made by the same factories that produce components for John Deere — but sold under a different brand name.
Aftermarket parts are manufactured by third-party companies not affiliated with John Deere. We only work with reliable aftermarket brands that meet our quality standards.
4. How do I request a part?
Simply fill out our Quick Order Form.
Include the part number, machine model, or a clear description of the component you need. You can also specify your preference for OEM or aftermarket parts.
5. Is your service free to use?
Yes.
Our sourcing service is 100% free for customers. We do not charge you any fees.
We are compensated by suppliers through a service commission that does not affect your price. In fact, thanks to our volume-based relationships and consolidated orders, we’re often able to negotiate even better prices than you’d get going direct.
6. Will I pay more than through a local dealer?
Usually not.
Our global supplier network and bulk-order capabilities allow us to offer competitive or discounted pricing, especially on OEM parts. We also often locate stock when official channels are out of supply or quoting long lead times.
7. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide.
Depending on the part type and your location, we use major carriers such as:
- DHL Express
- UPS
- FedEx
- Aramex
- DPD
- Freight forwarders (for bulk and pallet shipments)
We always select the most optimal shipping method based on your delivery time requirements and budget.
8. Can I track my shipment?
Yes.
Once your order has been confirmed and shipped, you will receive a tracking number and estimated delivery time. We work closely with the supplier to monitor the logistics and provide updates when necessary.
9. Do parts come with a warranty?
Warranty coverage depends on the brand and supplier.
OEM parts typically include a manufacturer’s warranty. Some aftermarket parts come with limited warranties as well. We will always communicate any warranty terms with your quote.
10. Can I speak to someone before placing a request?
Absolutely.
If you’re not sure about the part number, compatibility, or product type, feel free to contact our team. We’re here to help clarify and guide you before you submit a quote request.
11. Who am I actually buying parts from?
All purchases and payments are made directly between you and the selected supplier.
John-Deere-Parts.com does not sell parts or handle payments. Our role is to match you with the best possible supplier based on your request.
Once you approve a quote, you will receive a proforma invoice or payment instructions directly from the supplier, and you will communicate with them regarding payment, shipping, and documentation.
12. Do you help resolve disputes with suppliers?
While we are not a legal party in the transaction, we do take customer satisfaction seriously.
All of our suppliers sign a service-level agreement with us, committing to reliable communication, accurate deliveries, and responsible handling of every order.
In the rare case where a supplier fails to meet expectations (e.g., delayed shipping, incorrect parts, unresponsive service), we step in. If the issue is not resolved quickly, we remove the supplier from our database and terminate our cooperation with them.
We monitor supplier performance constantly to protect the integrity of our network and the experience of our customers.
13. Are you a licensed John Deere distributor?
No.
We are not affiliated with or authorized by John Deere.
Our service is independent, which allows us to work with multiple OEM and aftermarket suppliers and provide greater flexibility in terms of pricing, delivery options, and sourcing hard-to-find parts.
